The knees are probably where non-rheumatologists get the most exposure to a swollen joint because it's a fairly kind of tight balloon around the joint. With the hands, I think MCP joints and the PIP joints especially, you tend to get kind of just a juiciness as you squeeze someone's joint or how they look. People will sometimes get, you know, kind of synovial irritation around their elbow, whether rheumatoid arthritis or other stuff.
