How Much Do You Really Need for Retirement?

So my apartment is worth about one point seven million dollars, and i have a 580 thousand dollar mortgage. Is there anyone that you need to take care of? Is there a parent? Isthere a kid? Is therre a sibling? Anyone that is relying on a money from you? I have a 28 year old daughter, and she is not relying on money from me, but i really would like to help her out in the long run. She works in a very low payn try, and her husband is an artist. So i not get the memo that if you're going to have one dew gutter in the couple, the other one has to be a complete sell out
