After the incident with the tweaker girl I hit rock bottom, and I almost overdosed after totally misjudging the strength of some new dealer's stash. Another kid on a different occasion actually got out his wallet, took out maybe $2 and changed and just tossed it into a storm drain, way out of my reach. Most of that stuff just makes me angry, but the scary part is that I know well people don't really mature past a certain age. They tend to just get better at hiding what monsters they are. And to think these kids go on to take up positions of power or privilege is just terrifying to me.
