The Story of Tesla's Career

In 1885, Tesla started his own electric company in Raleigh, New Jersey. The first real project he worked on after breaking ties with Edison didn't have that much to do with furthering his ideas about alternating current. In part two of the podcast, we'll see what happens when Tesla gets some work done on that induction motor of his he designed so long ago. We'll also take a look at Tesla's post-current war life, including how he earned the nickname Master of Lightning.
