God Comes in Silence
God came in silence to elijah. We hear god through, of course, scripture is our final authority. But god also comes to us in the sound of sheer silence. If we are too mature, i need silence. In silence, i'm listening to me. There's this communion deeper than words. Elijah doesn't ask for guidance, but it happens. It's a natural result of getting quiet.
