The Legalistic Approach to Sabbath

God frees his people from Egypt and not just the physical place But also in Egyptian mindset that their value is based on what they produce. Once they became free people God gives them a new rule and a new way of things. There are two extremes when it comes to this scripture. The first is a really legalistic approach which turns Sabbath into another thing that you have to do to earn God's approval. Jesus did not adopt this legalistic approach in Mark 2 and 27.
