The space outside of the battles was a very new designed space for me. I wanted to add some down time, some puzzle, some something extra between fights. And i wanted more variety in the beast battles. The system we and it upon is beasts have an element which it basically determined,. Like if their scales have health, if they have thorns, if they like some behavior stuff.
