The Importance of Writing Fiction
I think that novels are very good at showing the ambiguities of life and the difficulties of life. I appeal more to people's feelings and also their sense of beauty and wonder or something where philosophy is much more about trying to say something that is solid and fixed. It's never fully dead so there's always yeah air coming in and out it's never really a wall or something but it's a very different way of saying something. The novels are also perhaps better at showing how we can do it in how we can live differently with other animals or the different worlds that are already sort of hiding behind the world that we see in front of us.
