I was diving in Mexico and doing my slow mad thing from Netlify. And I basically ended up continuing Netlify until about the end of 2019, started 2020. So I onboarded on to Amazon very, very rapidly and hastily in spending a year there as a developer advocate for their serverless platform. But then this startup opportunity come along which solved the one thing that I thought serverless did not do well. It was orchestration. This concept of a workflow engine that could take care of all of that complexity from top-down,. make it durable, fault-tolerant, scalable, logable.
