The Secrets of the Mantle
Lava is molten or liquid rock that can reach up to 12 hundred degrees celsius, or over two thousand degrees fahrenheit. You'll find magma underneath volcanoes in what are called magma chambers. But any magma that makes the journey to the crust has lost the secrets of the mantle along the way. Just think about rock that's been completely untouched since the earth came into existence.
