The Evolution of Ad Tech
Ad tech is going through an extended boring period, which has been characterized by consolidation and private equity investment in the space. But I do think we've got tectonic changes right in front of us. There's no question we've moved beyond the kind of world building era of ad tech 2008 to maybe 2018. The core infrastructure has been laid for what has classically been considered ad tech but there are areas that are growing incredibly fast.
