I think it's often the case that people get to where they are in their PhD in somewhat interesting ways. Were you also interested in medicine and biology in your undergrad and masters when you're doing more W and CS? I feel like many of the most interesting and maybe most impactful applications are definitely in healthcare. That interdisciplinary intersection is something I can continue to pursue.
