Is There a Civil War in Iraq?

In 2006, Iraq was in the throes of a civil war born by families on both sides of its sectarian divide. An average of four Iraqis were killed a week by American troops. Raad's father spent two entire weeks going through hospitals and mugs looking for his son after he disappeared from school. His mother was carjacked right outside their home; they ended up paying ransom to get him out.
