The USDA is investing another 25 million to expand what they call healthy incentives in snap. Snap is the modern day name for what we used to call food stamps. If you're a SNAP recipient and you're part of this experiment, you get extra money on your SNAP card that you can spend specifically on fruits and vegetables. This sounds like what my mother did when I was a boy except take out financial and put in something else.
