Burr Was Acquitted of Treason

Burr was arrested for treason and taken to Richmond, Virginia to be tried. Many men were believing that because of Burr's position that he wouldn't or couldn't pay his debts. In the end, the court did determine that the prosecution hadn't made a strong enough case to find Burr guilty of treason. So he was actually acquitted on those charges. But so now he's free. He's free to move about the country. The adosia is not going to be welcomed back with open arms after everything. She didn't have to live out that will and testament just yet.
