The Importance of Preserving the Language
I think it would be a great idea if people get the understanding that when you are allowing your data to be accessible or make it open resource, you're not. I also share the same sentiments with the case for Isis Zulu. Let's find ways in which we can preserve our languages in a sense that they do not go extinct. For instance, what we're doing now in South Africa is that because most of our languages have dialects and dialects, because they're not standard languages, they're not documented. So one of the projects that people can do is where you collect speech data of those dialects so that they can be accessible somewhere.
