The Power of Heat Pumps
It's a project that I first heard about in 2019 when I was talking with Leo Murray in London. It takes the water temperature that it gets from extracting heat from the tube and then increases it to about 80 degrees C using heat pumps, which makes it suitable for domestic and commercial central heating systems. But then the fan has the potential to operate and reverse and supply cooler air to the tube during the summer months. So this is actually a much cheaper way to heat buildings than just hooking everything up to a heat pump. Right.
