Children of Holocaust Survivors
The 1983 conference focused on women in the Holocaust. Women's issues were highlighted for the first time up until that time. The children of Holocaust survivors have had also unique and unbelievably difficult experiences as well because of the trauma that their parents had experienced. It took them another 10 years before they began to speak about sexual abuse among the women as well.
