We can be sure we're getting enough nutrients every day. For most adults in the us only get maybe ten to 12 grams of fibre a day. The recommendation is anywhere from 25 to 38 grams per day. Just one half cup of cooked beans will give you anywhere from eight to ten grams of fibre. And there are some studies to show that if you regularly use enimas, it may actually cause bowel problems later.
