The Problem of Renewables in the Western Markets
We don't want to be accused of pushing up power prices for mums and dads, taking another power away from industry. The problem that needs solving is really often only at the edge of the curve. In these diregulatod markets, they set a price. And this isn't the narrative around colo ing behind a wind far or behind a solar farm and operating 30 or forty % of the day. It's about recognizing that electricity markets are a melting pot,. different demand sources, different generation loads. They also come together in a market equilibrium.
