I was raised, you know, in the middle of Massachusetts in a very blue collar, in a mill town. My wife insists that my mom had an affair because I'm so radically different from everyone else in my family. Nobody went to college, no books in the house,. You know, hunting, sports, drinking, guns hunting, sports guns and drinking. So they all assumed I was gay. In the 70s, that was the only thing that possibly made sense to them.
