I think we've had those tough discussions and certainly the outlet business is like a drug. It's a very easy fix, but it's not a long-term solution. We want to protect our full price selling, but use the outlet as I feel it should be used. That's very different from what a lot of people are thinking. But I think it can be very dilutive to your company. And similarly, at one point, you pulled your line out of major department stores. Yes, we do that every now and then. You just have to move on and then go in in a more inspiring way. Which we are doing.
Tory Burch built a billion-dollar business from the ground up, by speeding forward when others might have hit pause, and showing watchful patience when others may have gone full tilt. In our live onstage interview, Tory shows how this approach plays out in her global business – and in her impactful foundation that supports women business owners. Live audience energy and great music make this first-ever event a fun listen. Cameo appearances by the Polynesian Voyaging Society's Lehua Kamalu and Affectiva's Rana el Kaliouby.
