God’s wisdom doesn’t always come from the places we expect. In this episode, Dr. Manny Arango walks us through one of the most fascinating sections in the entire Book of Proverbs — a collection of Egyptian sayings that were adapted into the Hebrew tradition and ultimately into Scripture. Yep, you read that right: today’s reading is full of Egyptian proverbs, “Yahweh-fied” for God’s people.
