Drone-Based Reforestation Technology for Post-Wildfire Areas
Drone-based reforestation technology is being trialled in Nova Scotia and Alberta. Drones are used to plant tree seed pods into the ground remotely. This increases germination rate, so we can accelerate planting of trees from the air. But this year's wildfires have been particularly severe for post-wildfire areas.
