Stefan R: I would encourage everyone to have a look at R on behalf of Richards and the Environment Agency and Bally's Quarry Limited. It's interesting because it looks at Article 2 and Article 8 of the Convention in the context of an alleged failure to properly regulate hydrogen sulfide emissions. This case was overturned in the Court of Appeal, so it's not an illustration of where the law currently stands in the United Kingdom. But I think it is very much a way of combining these environmental harm claims together with human rights claims in thecontext of a very public law heavy environmental regulatory decision.
