The Art of the Spike
Ideally after a meal, you want to see a spike that is lower than 30 milligrams per deciliter. This is based on studies that have been done in people without diabetes. Then, I mean, the higher the spike, the worse the effects are going to be. So it's really a spectrum. And yeah, when you wear glucose monitor, you see all kinds of weird shapes and it can be kind of confusing to interpret. But mostly, they're just like a natural part of just your body digesting your food in one way or another.
