Community Reinvestment

Most feteral reserve boards don't have any mnay directors. That's been true for the last 26 years, although it's changing still. Community reinvestment is a component in terms of what the fed wants to see from these banks. Also, when banks are looking to expand m, if they don't have a good record on community lending, the fet and other regulators will step in and disallow that expansion.
