How Can a Casette Tape Be Transformed Into Memory?
On a casette tape, data is ncoded as a series of differently magnetized regions. If you stand still and the tape's just sitting there, you got nothing going on. There's just some weird magnetic fields around. So how can we turn this into memory? Once again, the ability to cyclically access data is drop the tape, put the farite on a drum instead, and you're good to go. The mechanism of action here is a little more complicated, at least the physics gets more complicated.
