The reason the U.S. has a presence in Syria is to make sure that Syria suffers for not like losing, I guess, the war. And then also, of course, acting as a barrier to what they perceive as the the Shia crescent,. The Shia crescent, which is super offensive and very related from Baghdad to Beirut or whatever - Tehran to Beirut. So we can't win wars. But what we can do is destroy your country and make your people suffer by the millions. That's what the US can do.
