The Fear of the Unknown
The fear of the immigrant is always couched as this fear of the unknown, right? We don't know what's going to what this this thing that's foreign is going to bring to us and I think that that seems like in keeping with the Lovecraft notion. Freud does not accept that he doesn't think we're just afraid of theunknown, right? He thinks you're only afraid of the unknown when it has this proximity or recalls to you what's already known and experienced by you, right?
