The Mobilization of Japanese Culture
The collection of blood samples from birds didn't end until 1969 at least in the context of the united states and japan obviously. Instead of uh for national purposes science is being mobilized for the greater international good. There's a special store for Ornithological accoutrements including the coveted boots that you can purchase to outfit yourself properly.
