The Department of Justice says a rapper who bragged in a music video about getting rich from an unemployment scam is now facing federal charges. "There are a lot of them that are just so ridiculous, you know, that you think how in the world did anybody or any machine ... look at this and think, oh, yeah, well, this seems like a reasonable one?" they say.
As the coronavirus pandemic disrupted business in the US, the government sent billions of dollars to people and businesses that were affected. That led to an epidemic of financial scams.
