Is There a Trade-Off Between Privacy and Apple?

Apple is coming out with some additional required information from developers soon about what information you collect and how you use it. And again, this seems to me like an eminently reasonable and good trade off for both sides involved. In general, i think i and most people would point to apple as one of the best actors in terms of moving the ball forward on what users can expect, privacy wise.
