In reality the cell is jam-packed with stuff. There are tubes everywhere inside the cell if you were to peel back the phospholipid bilayer membrane and look into the cell It would just be this really complex network of tubes Everywhere that I can see tubes tubes tubes right? The space between individual proteins is like countable numbers of water molecules Right like proteins crammed in there these microtubules crammed in there And it's really just this like dense jungle of proteins Inside the cell  and of course these organelles which are also in there So the microtubules are everywhere they are involved in moving, for example a sperm tail composed entirely of microtubules.
