Is Geology a Paradigmatic Science?
I feel like geology is a science that has like, in terms of like being a really good example of a paradigmatic science, I think geology is one of the best ones. The 1960s plate tectonics revolution, I think is underappreciated in terms of how just like the whole face of the earth literally changed for people because of that. And I think that that is sort of the essence of what of what Coon was talking about is sort of that lens shifting and I'm sure there are good books on it but I feel like it's underexplored in that.
