TypeScript in Angular 2?
Angular 2 and React are seeing an uptick in adoption of TypeScript. With view, with view 3 it seems like it's encouraged but I might be misreading that. It's just a lot easier to use it if you do want to use it. The core language is written with TypeScript so that helps you know in a lot of your environments.
