The Late-Night Pits
Noah: I want to say something about the late-night pits. When I was a young man back in 2017, I took a research trip with the other staff of Environmental Progress. So one of the astonishing things that happened was, after a long day of driving around, finding observation towers, seeing vast pits all across the earth. After seeing all that and traveling to try to find one last glimpse of the heavy machinery before sunset,. We saw a beautiful mansion, a schloss, a manner house, and it didn't seem to have a gate, so we drove our van up parked in front of it.
