The Differences Between Males and Females in Ancestry

In ancenomoly, the wall colonist consists of females and you only have males during a short period of the year. These females are either queens or a worker. But another surprising thing we discover in this species is that the queens and workers didn't have the same genomes. They carry a really different genetic makeup. So to understand what's going on, we look at genetic variations across the species' range. And we discover that there was two cryptic genetic genes in this species that we call R and W because they segregate differently in reproductive queens and in workers.
