Some of the MPs and lords taking this through Parliament at the moment deny that the bill will require age verification on the part of these companies. It has been interesting though that actually somebody's companies have already been announcing they will take tougher measures. Another solution would be the one that YouTube uses I think in the EU whereby if you want to access content or material which would be suitable for over 18s, you have to provide a verified ID as part of that account set up.
