The Oxford Community Police Aren't Calling the Situation an Abduction
Torry's family handed out purple ribbons for people to wear as a public display of support. Parents at tory school dropped their children off in a heavy air of worry. The school brought in eight counsellors to help the children understand the situation and deal with their feelings. One week after torry disappeared, the police still weren't calling the situation an abduction. A local organization said that they supported the police's reasoning of why an am alert wasn't called.
