Pythons and the Everglades
Pythons have long slick bodies. Their skin is covered in intricate rhythmic patterns full of blacks, browns and yellows. So much so that you can have a python two inches away from your face and not even see it. One of Kevin's techniques for spotting them is to look for a glisten on their skin. They lie in the brush waiting or they actively stalk their prey. Once they grab the prey, they use their long body and wrap it around the victim and squeeze. Every time the victim exhales, the python squeezes tighter until the prey is basically suffocated. Then their jaw stretches wide to swallow their meal whole.
