The Gift of Gold

Mathan was given fifty pieces of gold as a gift by the king. His sister asked him to lend it to her husband, who she felt had never had a chance. Mathan said: "Can one refuse to share with one's sister? To many I can say no," but he added that sometimes it would be easier to say yes.
