The Collective Intelligence Concept in Cognitive Science
There's a necessity to find a particular location in culture space that doesn't require some really deep actual evolutionary leap. That gives rise to the possibility of a meta-psychotechnology which then feeds back on culture space. So is that sort of referring to the collective intelligence concept there? I was identifying it with work that I do in cognitive science on what's called distributed cognition. A lot of our problem solving is done by basically networking brains together via cultural systems.
