The forces that bones are undergoing with resistance training are so much smaller than just, like, kids running and jumping and doing kid stuff. Kids always need to be monitored in the wait room because there is the potential for injury. When it comes to how you actually train children until they hit puberty, you should probably be focusing on athletic skills and also weight room skills.
