The average American family watches six hours of TV a day. Wallace: We watch this stuff because it's entertaining, but there is going to be some downstream effect that what you're watching will have on you. He says people get picked to be on TV because they're beautiful, they're pretty, they're fun to look at. And you start thinking that you need to be pretty and you also have a mirror and you're not pretty. So like you start feeling shitty about yourself.
