Diaretic Induced Hypocalemia

When you have a loop diaretic, that's going to increased distal delivery of sodium. And if it's a good diaretics, it's going to ramp up aldostrone because they're getting volume depleted. Those two together will increase tassium losses, and that'll cause the hypo calema. The cavia out of that is, with heart failure and where youre very high eldastrion levels and serosis, where your very high dastron levels, you don't typically see hypo hypocalea. But then if you give them the loop diaratic, that lows the sodium delivery to occur.
