i think it's important to divorce yourself from your race and from even youre like, training paces. There are different seasons of our life, and sometimes we aren't able to compete with u our earlier sions of ourselves. i often tell my high school athletes that i coach that are kind of getting overwhelmed with performing on a track race or across rase. For like, the first time, i'm like, nobody cares. They're not watching you. The people that care about you are still going to love you.
