People with the strongest opposition to scientific and since this have the lowest levels of objective knowledge, yet they also have the most confidence. So the people who speak with the most certainty against scientists are the least trustworthy and self-aware. And so you would almost never see scientists talk like that about things that they study. But where scientists go wrong is when they're weighing in on issues they don't know.
