I'm Not Afraid of a Civil War
Some one had listened to a the episode of the conversation that i did with my friend david french, talking about issues of, he raysed some issues of potential civil war. And this also came up. Ahad David in a siminar that i teach out at the university of chicago on religion and politics and culture. And what what i said to them is, you know, if if i had even heard this talked about five years ago, maybe even two years ago, i would have said, come on, this is an aggeration. We have problems, we have a divided country, but we're not at the point of a civil war.
