The Family Is the Root of Social Order

In evolutionary times, if you're around mostly people who are your close kin, then you can probably just develop a general sense of sympathy with other people. And that will automatically be applied most frequently to your own kin members, your own kin group. So the feelings of of moral sympathy and and what not, the moral codes and virtues that we have, all come through evolutionary processes. It all comes down to the mily and the preservation of the family.
